Is a santuario construido in 1987.
It was the most important Paysandú saladero, come to know it.
It is a place of beaches and of wooded parks, ideal to spend a good moment with friends or in family.
On November 11, 1949, for decision of the Papa Pío XII it gets the title of "Minor Basilica", for his historical and artistic importance, come to know it.
This is other of the calm places of the city of Paysandú; being one of the favorite walks so much of his inhabitants as of those who visit this beautiful city on the banks of the river Uruguay.
